What we have put in writing
These three policies are posted in the plant and used during quality audits. Customers who need a signed copy can request one from our sales team.
Policy 1
Quality Policy
Erawan Rubber Co., Ltd. manufactures moulded rubber components. We are committed to running the company well, with the quality of our products and service measured against what our customers actually need. Our quality policy is therefore as follows.
- Produce goods that meet the customer’s specification and the referenced standards.
- Deliver on the date agreed.
- Improve the quality management system continuously, at every step of the work.
- Train employees regularly so each person understands their part in the quality of the product.
- Respond quickly to customer complaints and fix the root cause so the same fault does not return.
Policy 2
Energy and Environmental Policy
Conserving energy and protecting the environment is part of running this business, not separate from it. Our energy and environmental policy is therefore as follows.
- Reduce energy use and get the most from the energy we do use.
- Reduce waste from production so the environmental impact stays as small as possible.
- Support the energy and environmental management system and keep improving it.
- Bring energy targets and policy into management review meetings, so the system is genuinely maintained and improved.
Policy 3
Business Code of Conduct
We are committed to doing business lawfully and within a sound code of conduct, so that the way this company is run stands up to scrutiny. The following sets out how we deal with each group we work with.
Towards our employees
- Keep the working environment safe for the life and property of every employee.
- Follow the relevant laws and regulations strictly and openly.
- Give employees regular access to training that builds their knowledge and skills.
- Pay fairly and appropriately, with benefits that match real circumstances.
- Give employees room to raise opinions and suggest things that help the company.
- Encourage teamwork and provide enough meeting space for each team.
- Encourage employees to play sport and exercise regularly.
Towards our customers
- Deliver goods that meet the standard and quality we offered.
- Give straight information about the product and never hide a material’s limitations.
- Keep customer drawings and trade secrets strictly confidential.
- Listen to complaints and act on them properly, within a reasonable time.
Towards partners and society
- Do business lawfully, transparently and in a way that can be audited.
- Treat suppliers even-handedly and never seek improper benefit.
- Pay on the agreed terms and never take advantage of a smaller partner.
- Make sure production does not burden the community around the plant.
